Laurel Ann

Or like we prefer to call her, "Laurel Lamb".  She is the first born by one minute and is such a gift.  Putting together this collage has made me realize just how much she has grown this year.  So fast.  Sometimes I forget how little she is because she acts so much older!  She has taught me so much already.  She is so naturally caring and thoughtful of others and always has been. It is very normal to see her stroking Maisy's hair or giving Norah a hug.  She will cock her little head to the side and in a sweet little voice ask if whoever she is caring for needs a drink or some cheese or whatever.

She is a natural leader.  She is first to try anything new and very comfortable doing anything athletic (must be from her Father... definitely not from me).  She is not afraid to climb or to jump and can usually figure out what she needs to do to get where she wants or what she wants/needs.

She is great helper.  She loves to help in the kitchen and will fetch me whatever I need even if it isn't particularly easy.  She is very curious and is constantly asking "why?"

She loves all babies and talks to "Baby Ollie" (this is what we have been calling this little bean in my belly for the past few months) every day.  She is SO excited to meet him and is always asking if  after he is born, she can hold him and feed him a bottle.

She lives and breaths "pincess" and calls every castle she sees "the Temple where she's gonna get married".  She is not the only princess, every woman or girl she sees who happens to be wearing a skirt or dress is a princess, even the huge, black lady at the store the other day.  When she saw this particular woman she whispered in awe, "Look mom, there's a pincess!"

We love her more than words could ever express and can't wait to see what this next year has in store.  We would never ever be the same without our little Laurel Lamb.
